I have been with them about 2 months now and I have to admit it has been pretty effortless. Signing up and moving in was easy, using the app has been good and for the price a great value compared to other companies.

The process to secure the rental was simple and the ability to add on insurance was easier than going through our home owners policy. My disappointment came with the misleading information on the site that says Current Special: 50% Off First Three Months. I had to call the customer service number to get find out what the process was to get the discount and even they struggled to determine how give the discount. In the end they did add the discount to my rental after 25 minutes on the phone to get there. The customer service representative was exceptional and wanted to make sure she did her diligence which I respect. She was very polite and thoughtful in resolving the issue.

UPDATE: The customer service call was recorded and immediately sent to Derek, the regional manger. He called me and apologized repeatedly, stating that the employee who spoke to me was new and still in training. I pointed out some key problems with what was stated. he agreed and assured me my rate was not increasing with the exception of the additional storage unit insurance. I appreciated the quick response. Definitely don't receive that rom companies now-a-days. FRAUDULENT CONSUMER PRACTICES Square Space Storage just took over Baton Rouge Self Storage. I receive written notification that if I don't supply my own insurance policy one will be provided automatically for $9/mo. I don't have a problem with that but call to confirm this. DEONDRE answers the phone. He is not in the same state I'm in. He tells me that he the charge will an extra $13/mo. and that he can't do it for $9/mo. What do you mean you can't do it for $9, this isn't a sales call!! I tell him I have it writing. Your company offered me the $9/mo charge, this isn't negotiable!! Then I say, please confirm my monthly charge so that I'll know what the total will be. He said your monthly charge is $84/mo. That didn't sound correct either so I pull up my bank account and they just deducted $67 for the month. I tell him that and he doesn't respond. I said you know what, I'm not sure what's going on here but its best for me and for you that you act like this call never happened. Do not make any changes to my account, none whatsoever because it sounds like there's fraudulent consumer practices taking place!!!!!
